Falling in Lust

“Lust” is a hard thing to talk about. It has been a culprit of much division, destruction, and brokenness since the beginning of time. It seems to be something most people struggle with, but at the same time, it’s rarely talked about. The irony is, lust permeates the Bible! It’s found in numerous stories, teachings, and writings. Jesus had no problem bringing it up or teaching on it, and when he did, he had some very strong language regarding it.  The problem is, the longer it remains a struggle, temptation, or sin swept under the rug and ignored, it will continue to wreak havoc in our lives, relationships, and this world. The good news is that there is an answer for it. There can be freedom from it and victory over it. This series will take a look at some of the most iconic figures in Scripture to learn how lust pervaded their lives, how they dealt with or engaged with it, and what we can learn for our lives today.
